Early Registration Deadline: October 1, 2009
Regular Registration Deadline: October 23, 2009 ASSIGNMENT OF POSITIONS
To ensure ample time for students to research their issues and positions, and for GWCIA staff to prepare for the conference, we ask all faculty advisors to e-mail the Secretary General with the number of students they plan to bring to the conference as soon as they have an estimate.
An approximate delegate count must be e-mailed to the Secretary General by registration day.
After the Secretary General has received delegate numbers, GWCIA will e-mail faculty advisors a list of committee positions. For example: USA in DISEC, Kenya in AU, or General Gates in the American Revolutionary Command. (The number of positions will be the same as the delegate count estimates.)
Then, faculty advisors should assign students to committee positions on the list they received. We ask faculty advisors to e-mail the Secretary General with their student-committee position assignments, preferably within one week. Changes in committee position assignments during the time leading up to the conference will not be a problem, faculty advisors should just stay in touch with the Secretary General. Questions regarding this process should be directed to the Secretary General.
