Welcome to the 14th Annual Greater Washington Conference on International Affairs! GWCIA is a one-day Model United Nations conference specifically designed for middle school students, grades 5 through 8, with the goals of inspiring interest in international issues while helping students improve a variety of other skills. Our secretariat is looking forward to another fantastic conference, and we hope you will join us at GWCIA XIV.

GWCIA offers a myriad of options for students based on their interests and past experience. There is a wide range of committees and topics for the students to participate in and learn about. Above all, we are working to make sure all conference participants have a chance to get involved and learn.

This year, the conference will be on November 7, 2009. As always, GWCIA will be an exciting and intense learning experience for everyone, and we hope you will join us.
