General Requirements

 
All articles should be less than 1000 words, sent to the editor (Ryan deWerd) as plain text (no attachments please). Authors should provide a .edu email address and phone number where they can be reached. Article types

 
The Globe generally prints:

  • Commentary articles up to 1000 words, taking a novel or thought-provoking look at a major issue in foreign affairs. Feature pieces on the month's topic are especially welcome.
  • Book and idea reviews critically analyze the thought of an individual author or a concept. The best pieces will include a bibliography or web links for students interested in further research.
  • Life and Career pieces focusing on internships, student events, IAS programs, and other topics of interest to undergraduates.
