Model United Nations

The George Washington University Model United Nations Team, a consistently nationally top-10 ranked team, is looking for a new class of Freshman to join our team.  Whether you have been active in your high school’s Model UN team or are just interested in international affairs, political science or economics we welcome you to come out and see what being a member of the team is all about.

At the start of each academic year the George Washington University Model United Nations team runs a wide range of mock conferences and training opportunities open to all members of the International Affairs Society to allow you to see if the team is right for you and for us to find the next crop of team members to continue our team’s domination on the circuit.  If selected to be a part of our team you will be able to travel around the country and around the world, competing to make our university proud.

As a team member you will gain the opportunity to network and acquire life long friendships with competitors for the top colleges around the country.  You will greatly expand your leadership, public speak, negotiating, political strategy, diplomatic and writing skills more than almost any other source during your time at GW.  Most importantly, you will have exceptionally fun and rewarding experiences.
